Scolecite is a mineral in the zeolite group, very similar to natrolite. I believe it's composition is primarily of calcium. It forms very interesting Acicular(needle like) structures which often shimmer under light. It is very brittle. I'm not sure if the material is stabilized or not.

This lot is a very pretty pink / salmon and nearly are all acicular some with excellent play of light.
